BARCS Pet of the Week

James (7364354) is a handsome, two year old terrier mix who was found as a stray on the streets of Baltimore. James was a hit at HonFest. He remained calm with the crowds and enjoyed attention for six hours. He was curious about other dogs and related well to them. James was especially good with children. He sniffed and kissed them. He is a mellow dog. Give him a chance! Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) does not have a time limit for holding animals and he has been at the shelter for 96 days hoping for a new home.
BARCS is celebrating Independence Day with a dog adoption special - beginning July 5, BARCS will waive the adoption fees for the first 76 dogs adopted at the shelter. BARCS is located at 301 Stockholm Street, across from the Ravens stadium. The shelter is open for adoptions seven days a week, Monday through Friday from 2 pm to 6 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm.
