It's Thursday, July 24, and this is about us at Baltimore.biz and the Beaches and Towns Network, LLC..
We live in Baltimore and enjoy sharing what we love about our home town. We started making online observations on what to do and where to stay back in 1999, which led us to include hotel bookings on our Baltimore sites. Today, having grown into an independent organization of destination Web sites, we have the option of selecting the fulfillment company that provides the best value for you, our reader. We have been doing this effectively since March of 2000 when a visitor to one of our sites first booked a room in a Baltimore hotel. Since then we have been providing great rates at great hotels for thousands upon thousands of visitors, vacationers and travelers every year; not just in Baltimore, but across the country.
For www.Baltimore.biz, we have chosen Interactive Hotel Solutions of Springfield, MO, to provide hotel reservations fulfillment. They have been doing this a lot longer than most companies, and can access the same great hotel inventory that most "everyone else" has. What they don't have is expensive television advertising; preferring to work through independent Web sites - such as ours.
Those TV advertisements from the "big guys" all imply a personal touch to selecting your hotel choices and accommodations. Well, maybe so. But those TV ads also cost a bundle - and guess who gets to split the cost...you do, of course.
You also get to decide on the "seriousness" of those ads. Do you trust the little guy with the funny voice and funny hat or some guys in bellhop suits and clipboards standing in a swimming pool...
(Above, right...We check out the Baltimore city view over a morning cup of coffee - or two.)

Our Photo-Ride parked on the south shore promenade along Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
